    Dayne Frost, adjunct professor of applied voice, earned her Master’s degree in vocal performance from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She lived in Germany for 21 years, 11 of which she spent singing in the professional opera chorus of the Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim, Germany. As a teacher of applied voice, she provides instruction in vocal technique, literature, interpretation, and diction, as well as encouragement in performing experience and the progress and health of the voice for undergraduate music majors, minors, and elective students. She teaches a vocal seminar class to give her students the opportunity to perform and to receive coaching, as well as to participate in sessions on vocal health and technique. She has taken groups of students to the NATS Mid-South auditions each Spring.
