• The Department of Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education provide training for those students wishing to obtain teacher licensure in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3), Elementary Education (K-5), Middle Grades Education (6-8), and Special Education. The department also provides the professional education courses for post-baccalaureate students seeking licensure on the undergraduate level. Students wishing to work with children in institutions and agencies other than public schools may choose majors that do not lead to teacher licensure.
